School administrators are allowing student council to re-title ‘Mr. Harriton’ as ‘Dr. Harriton’ after students protested administrators original decision to re-title the show Mx. Harriton, according to a student council officer. Administrators had originally rejected Dr. Harriton, a preferred council chosen name, without reason. Administrators hope the name change will make the competition more gender inclusive.
